Argentum Medical Silverlon Wound Contact Dressing, 2" x 2".
Wound Contact Dressings
Silverlon Wound Contact Dressings are ideal for the management of a wide variety of wounds including partial thickness wounds, pressure ulcers, venous ulcers, diabetic ulcers, traumatic and surgical wounds, 1st and 2nd degree burns, and donor and graft sites.
Indications for Use
Silverlon Island Wound Dressings and Silverlon Wound Pad Dressings are multi-layer, sterile, non-adherent, antimicrobial barrier wound dressings.
Over-The-Counter Indications
Local management of superficial wounds, minor burns, abrasions and lacerations.
Prescription Indications
- Under the supervision of a healthcare professional Silverlon® Island Wound Dressings and Silverlon Wound Pad Dressings are intended for up to 7 day use for wounds such as vascular access or peripheral IV sites, orthopedic external pin sites, wound drain sites, surgical wounds (donor and graft sites, incisions), and partial to full thickness dermal ulcers (stage I-IV pressure sores, venous stasis ulcers, arterial ulcers, diabetic ulcers).
- Silverlon Island Wound Dressings and Silverlon Wound Pad Dressings are indicated for the management of infected wounds, as the silver in the dressing provides an antimicrobial barrier that may be helpful in managing these wounds. In addition, the moist wound healing environment and control of wound bacteria within the Silverlon Island Wound Dressing and Silverlon Wound Pad Dressing may help reduce the risk of wound infection and support the body's healing process.
- Silverlon Island Wound Dressings and Silverlon Wound Pad Dressings may be used for the management of painful wounds, Silverlon Island Wound Dressings and Silverlon Wound Pad Dressing’s non-adherent wound contact layer reduces pain during dressing changes and evaporation of moisture in the dressing may soothe the wound.
Contraindications
Silverlon Dressings should not be used on patients with 3rd degree burns or with known sensitivity to silver or nylon.

We do not ship orders on Saturdays, Sundays or holidays. Orders placed on Saturdays, Sundays or holidays will ship on the next business day.

Special order items also require additional shipping time as these items are usually not stocked at our warehouses and require approximately 15-30 business days (or more depending on the product) for items to be received at our warehouse before it ships out. SPECIAL ORDER ITEMS ARE NON-RETURNABLE.

To be eligible for return, your item must be unused/unopened, contain all original parts and accessories, and in the original packaging material in which you received it.

- Mobility equipment and mobility equipment replacement parts, i.e. batteries, wheelchairs, wheelchair cushions, seats, rollators, walkers
- Hygiene-related products, including but not limited to undergarments, stockings/hose, ostomy/urostomy products, hernia belts, impotence pumps and parts, pessaries, pads, compression stockings/sleeves, hand sanitizers, wipes, toilet paper
- RESPIRATORY PRODUCTS. Due to Covid-19, all respiratory products are non-returnable.
- Products that are not in resalable condition
- Final sale or clearance items / Special order items
- Skin salves, ointments, creams, gels, lotions and wound care (bandages, dressings, etc)
- All IV/Blood collection, needles and syringes, feeding tubes and accessories, etc.
