Using a wrench to twist off the handle was the best part of the instructions. Start with everything tight (or short). It’s much easier to loosen things up after installation rather than tighten.

An extra 1/2" does not hurt more than a 1" needle. 1 1/2" is the way to go for I'm injections for us large size guys getting deep in the muscles for trt.
