Specifically designed for children ages 1-13 with impaired GI function, this calorically-dense pediatric formula provides easy-to-digest and absorb nutrients.
Peptamen Junior® 1.5 formula contains 100% whey protein to support feeding tolerance. It also contains the CalciLock® blend of essential nutrients to support healthy bone development. This nutrient blend includes calcium, phosphorus, magnesium, zinc, and vitamins D, C & K and is designed to support bone health. Although each individual nutrient has a specific role, the nutrients work together to provide the CalciLock benefit.
Peptamen Junior® 1.5 is gluten-free and lactose-free, but is not suitable for people with galactosemia. It contains milk protein, so it is not appropriate for children with a cow’s milk protein allergy. Intended for tube feeding only.
