Nutricia North America PhenylAde® GMP Drink Mix, 13.2 oz (375 g) Can, Vanilla

A low-phenylalanine, powdered formula containing glycomacropeptide (GMP) for the dietary management of phenylketonuria (PKU) for children, teens and adults.

A low-phenylalanine, powdered medical food containing a balanced mix of glycomacropeptide (GMP), essential and non-essential amino acids, carbohydrates (including fiber), fat (including DHA and EPA), vitamins, minerals and trace elements.

Start your day with the ultimate GMP-based PKU protein shake.
Includes DHA, a nutrient often lacking in the PKU diet.
Complete with essential vitamins and minerals.
GMP-based formulas are known for their mild taste and may aid in feelings of fullness.
Provides 1.5 g of fiber in each 10 g PE serving.
Available in Vanilla and Plain flavors.
Suitable for individuals over 1 year of age and must be used under medical supervision.

Directions for Use:

Simply add 33.3 g of powder (approx. 1/4 cup, level and unpacked) to approx. 5 fl oz (150 mL) of cold water. Dilution may be adjusted to taste. For greater accuracy use a gram scale.
Cover with a tight-fitting lid and shake until fully blended.
Best served immediately.

Do not heat, bake or add to food or beverages above 130°F.

Storage:

Store unopened cans in a cool, dry place away from sunlight. Avoid extreme temperatures. Once a can is opened, reseal with lid provided and use within one month.

Important Notice:

Must only be used under medical supervision. For oral or tube feeding. Not for parenteral use. Not suitable as a sole source of nutrition. Only suitable for individuals over 1 year of age with proven phenylketonuria (PKU). Not suitable for individuals with a milk allergy.
