Smith & Nephew Iodoflex™ Pad 10g (2-1/8" x 3").
IODOFLEX Cadexomer Iodine Pad is designed with cadexomer beads that absorb slough, soft necrotic tissue and exudate. As the bead absorbs fluid, the broad spectrum antimicrobial activity of 0.9% iodine is released for up to 72 hours. IODOFLEX has been shows to prevent and disrupt mature biofilm in vitro
IODOFLEX is indicated for exuding wounds that are colonized or infected, and contain slough or debris including venous stasis ulcers, pressure ulcers, diabetic foot ulcers, traumatic wounds and dehisced surgical wounds.
IODOFLEX™ Pads - Cadexomer Iodine Pads with Iodine
Description IODOFLEX Pads are sterile antimicrobial dressing formulations made of Cadexomer Iodine. When applied to the wound, they absorb fluids, removing exudate, pus and debris and forming a gel over the wound surface. As they absorb, iodine is released, killing bacteria and changing color.

Indications:
IODOFLEX Pads - For use in treating wet ulcers and wounds such as venous stasis ulcers, pressure sores, diabetic foot ulcers, and infected traumatic and surgical wounds.
Contraindications / Precautions:

IODOFLEX is contraindicated in:
- patients with known or suspected iodine sensitivity
- Hashimoto's thyroiditis
- non-toxic nodular goitre
- children -
IODOFLEX should not be used:
- by pregnant or lactating women
Special Warnings and Precautions for Use:
Iodine may be absorbed systemically, especially when large wounds are treated. Patients with severely impaired renal function or a past history of any thyroid disorder are more susceptible to alterations in thyroid metabolism with chronic IODOFLEX therapy. In endemic goitre, there have been isolated reports of hyperthyroidism associated with exogenous idoine. It has been observed occasionally that an adherent crust can form when IODOFLEX is not changed with sufficient frequency.

- RESPIRATORY PRODUCTS. Due to Covid-19, all respiratory products are non-returnable.
- Products that are not in resalable condition
- Final sale or clearance items / Special order items
- Skin salves, ointments, creams, gels, lotions and wound care (bandages, dressings, etc)
- All IV/Blood collection, needles and syringes, feeding tubes and accessories, etc.
